The International and Foreign Language Education (IFLE) office invites you to the Fiscal Year (FY) 2018 Title VI Virtual Technical Assistance Workshop (TAW) on September 19 and 20, 2017. The purpose of the TAW is to assist prospective applicants with the preparation of grant applications under the Centers for International Business Education (CIBE), Language Resource Centers (LRC), National Resource Centers (NRC) and Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowships (FLAS), and Undergraduate International Studies and Foreign Language (UISFL) Programs, pending the availability of funds for new FY 2018 competitions. The workshop will be live-streamed from the U.S. Department of Education (Department) headquarters in Washington, D.C. Please join us for the opening plenary session, instructional sessions led by IFLE program officers, presentations about innovative Title VI and Fulbright-Hays project activities and outcomes, and sessions about international education topics presented by stakeholders and experts in the field. All sessions will be interactive and will provide the opportunity for participants to comment and ask questions.

We are providing our first virtual workshop to allow participants to engage with their peers, Department of Education officials, and the IFLE team in a more efficient format.

We welcome you and look forward to seeing you in September.
